Peter W. Ulrichsen is the owner of Designa Kitchens in Glostrup and Copenhagen. The Challenge and Implementation of AdPlenty
As a strategic decision and on the recommendation of the company’s marketing committee, which had been presented with the platform and flow, the Designa chain rolled out AdPlenty across all dealers in Denmark and Norway in the spring of 2023. Peter W. Ulrichsen explains that there was a general desire among the dealers to streamline processes and enable faster market entry for local campaign activities while maintaining brand identity locally.
"Our specific challenge was the time spent briefing the agency, creating, and adjusting local digital campaigns. There were many back-and-forth emails with text, images, and approvals. This meant that we had to allow four weeks from campaign idea to launch on our social media. At the same time, we lacked insight into how our local campaigns were performing in real time. We were very constrained in seizing sudden opportunities, and we spent a lot of time on communication, while also missing data insights," says Peter W. Ulrichsen.
User-Friendliness
Along with all other Designa dealers, Peter W. Ulrichsen participated in an onboarding session on the AdPlenty platform and was able to start creating and booking ads the same day.
"With AdPlenty, we have a super intuitive tool that is more or less self-explanatory. I got help to run a booking through once, and I’ve managed it myself since then. We can now have an ad ready in under 5 minutes. We can also track how it converts on the desired parameters, both while it's running and afterward, in a very clear one-page report that is generated automatically," explains Peter W. Ulrichsen.
He adds, "With fixed campaign and monthly packages, the headquarters ensures that we can quickly book a campaign and thus have an always-on digital presence. This is a great advantage when we are very busy in the store."
Results
Since Peter W. Ulrichsen started using AdPlenty to manage his local digital campaigns for his two stores in Glostrup and Copenhagen, the impact has been significant. "In early summer, I noticed a sudden increase in market activity in Glostrup and Copenhagen. Within minutes, I set up an ad campaign and could almost immediately be out on Facebook and Instagram. Timing was crucial, and we quickly saw a marked increase in the number of booked meetings in the stores," he says.
"We have particularly seen great results from using personal videos from the two stores in the ads, and we have seen a massive increase in the number of booked meetings generated from our digital marketing activities. In just a few weeks, we received close to 100 qualified customer inquiries in total, which tells me that our ongoing investment in local digital advertising and using ourselves and the stores in the videos, as well as the ability to control our activities and quickly increase marketing efforts via AdPlenty, is the recipe for success," concludes Peter W. Ulrichsen.
